ColorSay offers a unique approach to experiencing colors through sound, utilizing the camera functions of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to make environmental colors audible.

With ColorSay, users can receive verbal identification of colors. By selecting from five predefined color sets for speech output, the app announces the name of the nearest recognized color. It boasts multilingual support, identifying colors in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese.

Furthermore, ColorSay converts colors into auditory tones. Users can select different sound modes to create a sonochromatic representation of color impressions. The dominant colors detected in real-time are translated into tones, allowing users to discern distinct color families acoustically.

The app has been optimized to integrate with iOS accessibility features such as VoiceOver; however, it operates independently of these functionalities to ensure all users have an unrestricted experience.
